I'm dying over everything in this picture, but the clever use of Mouse's Back in a flat finish and glossy finish in this NYC apartment is perfection. image via
One of my all time favorite colors (from my all time favorite paint company, Farrow & Ball) has popped up in to my head again and I can't seem to get it out. I would just DIE to be able to paint our living room in Farrow & Ball's Mouse's Back. It's such a soothing, calm, and earthy color...and it suits ANY decor. And, I love a darker room. Here are some examples of this beautiful color in design... Now, where to find F&B in Australia??

image via Mouse's back seems to take on a greyish-olive tone, depending on the other colors in the room. I love that.

image via With the sage green placed directly on top of the color it takes on more of a greyish chocolate look.
