Again, I have found inspiration from this month's Veranda. This time, it's the sister duo Kelli Ford and Kirsten Fitzgibbons operating under the business name Kirsten Kelli. The 14 page article, entitled 'Haute Hues', explores the luxuriously colorful, classical yet quirky, home of Kelli Ford and her family, located in Dallas, Texas. Divulging into the detailed requirements for the design, we quickly learn the house must be kid friendly for pool parties, able to accommodate 100 guests for cocktail parties, yet still feel comfortable enough to call home.

The designers are attracted to 'evocative color' and describe their style as combining classic and contemporary elements to create an ‘incredibly livable and aesthetically beautiful spaces with a sense of the unexpected’. Their feature in this month's Veranda shows just that.
